For a moment, pretend I'm really stupid, (don't say it), and have no clue how to read that. What does projected cut E mean?

I think it's just part of the page template that defaults to E and they ignore it until it should be changed. With not even everybody teeing off yet for the first round you can't make a good projection on this performance. According to Tiger last week +3 isn't unheard of for the cut at this course.
