'Ambiguous Genitalia' Gender Won't Count In New Dorm

'Ambiguous Genitalia'???
Wesleyan University in Connecticut will in September inaugurate a gender-blind dormitory for incoming students who arent sure what sex they are, reports the Hartford Courant.
Students who opt for the floor will have roommates appointed without regard to their sex, perceived or otherwise. The rooms will be set aside for transgender students, described as those born with ambiguous genitalia or who don't identify with their physical sex.
A famously liberal school, Wesleyan has garnered publicity in recent years for a course on pornography, a "queer prom" and rumors of a "naked dorm." Often, the publicity has been accompanied by criticism from the general public or alumni. Wesleyan spokesman Justin Harmon said he doesn't expect that kind of fallout in this case.

WTF? It's Pat! Would you settle for Jamie Lee Curtis? Or at least so goes the rumor.

I miss G. Gordon Liddy, and I should listen to him more on the net since he's not on our local channels any more.
As Liddy astutely points out, the correct term is SEX not GENDER. The genders in German. Russian, Latin and Greek for example are masculine, feminine and NEUTER! I believe Liddy also stated that some languages have as many as 7 genders. Gender is a grammatical term, you infernally politically correct newspeak idiots!

well, we can scratch another school off the list of potential universities for my girls

Their kids, their money, their school. Nobody else's damn business. If it is fairly disclosed, I agree. On the other hand, I bet a lot of the people who donated money to these schools foundations would be rolling over in their graves if they knew how their money is actually spent. It's too bad people can't take back their gifts to these universities and transfer the money to worthier causes decades after they have died.

Fair point. People should do plenty of due diligence before donating to charities or institutions....

Transgenderism has NOTHING to do with intersex disorders. Everyone is born with a gender just that some have syndromes affecting the development of their sex organs.

Who gets to determine if the genatalia in question are ambiguous?
Will Wesleyan be hiring genatalia inspectors? Will they use volunteers?
Or will this be left to self-determination?
The whoe program sounds a bit ambiguous to me.

I've heard that rumour before. Got any proof whether it's true or false?

To repeat G. Gordon Liddy's reminder: The word "gender" in English refers to word forms in language, not the sex of an individual. I know people all over college campuses misuse the word all the time, but still, we should uphold the language.
It is very sad that folks are so confused as to their sex. It really is very sure evidence as to America's decadence.

in the image of God He created him;
male and female He created them." (Gen. 1:27)

doesn't she have kids?
I don't think the liberal courts are powerful enough to order god to give dudes the ability to have kids
To: ContentiousObjector
doesn't she have kids? Adopted. From what I read she is actually genetically male.

Chances are they will all be double majors. Just a hunch.
Will these dormitories have a front door and a back door? Just curious.

"The new mission statement says freshmen who choose to live in the gender-blind area 'will be assigned a roommate without the consideration of gender.'"
This might make life interesting
Duing my son's first year in a dorm, he complained that his female visitors had to leave at 8PM, while Fred and Harold next door just cuddled up and went to sleep.

No it's not. I have friends in the medical community who confirmed that Jamie Lee Curtis has 100% female appearance yet is chromosomally a male. She is totally infertile. I presume (don't know) that this also means her body has no uterus and she doesn't ovulate.
