A day in the life of President Bush (photos): 5/14/03

President Bush began his day with a few diplomatic calls to foreign leaders thanking them for their support in Iraq. Bush then welcomed South Korean President Roh Moo-hyun to the White House, where they discussed a nuclear-free Korean peninsula. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

Maybe he got sunburned in NM playing golf over the weekend. He was in the higher elevations where the sun burns you quickly.

Awwwww :o)

Our sweetie Lab was named Katie and 2 when we adopted her. We got her at the pound-she had been terribly abused and was hours from extinction.

She was part of our family for 11 years before she suffered a massive stroke..we had to have her put to sleep. Talk about primal emotions. It's been 5 years and we still miss her so much.

We have a stepcat with claws now. Long story.

Labs were one of my favorite breeds to work with when I worked at a pet store. Very sweet disposition and great around kids. But I'm still very partial to my Dobes *s* My parents have one that weighs about 130lbs and is a big baby.

It doesn't look like President Roh is terribly happy about what was said, or what information he was given, before this photo op.

Is one of them promoting a new book titled "In The Company of Heroes"? I've seen him on Fox twice now and his story is compelling. The book sounds like a very good read.

Oh yeah we had a Doberman named Merlin when I was in HS that would sit in my lap and watch TV with me. He lived to be 10 before we had to put him down due to cancer.

How's everything in your little corner of the swamp?

Things are good. I am finally settled in from the move, love my new house, McLynnan, Jr. is in love, and it's hot as hell. How about you?

Yeah, Bubba is two also; still pretty puppyish but we have him in a training class. I know about the loss thing, it's hard. We lost our 15 year old lab in December and we finally decided we had to fill that void.

The dim Dems
believe they can
un-seat Dubya
Little did they show
Dubya would win
in the 2000 go
nor do they have a hunch
he'll win the crunch again in 2004...
sans Hanging Chad...
and Dear Old DAD...
Dubya did it on his own
much to the chagrin of the dim Dems...

I didn't know you moved...haven't been in the 'loop' in quite a while. Grammie never tells me nuthin ya know.

McLynnan Jr in love. egads!

psychogirl is now 13 and finishing track season this week. Swimming starts up in June. Always something. I figure I'll keep her too tired to *want* to do much of anything. wink.

Getting warmer here. Used the air conditioner for the first time yesterday. I'm a big baby when it comes to heat. I hate heat. I hate summer...unless I'm in a pool. Autumn is my favorite time of year.

egads! I need to go pick up Lerch at the airport!!! Be back later...much later.

Funny!

It's pathetic to hear the dems ... if you let any of them talk long enough, it's always back to "he didn't really win;" "selected, not elected;" "stolen election."

They don't know how lucky they were. A lot of people were leery of Bush first time round. Relatively obscure Texas governor ... didn't know what he would really be like.

Now they know! Bad news for the dems. You can taste their fear.

Ha, ha.

I'm so busy I use a catheter cuz there isn't time for the normal way. Top that.

Be back later, chickee.
