A statewide survey of 500 registered, likely voters conducted on May 6-7, 2003 shows that President Bush would defeat Joe Lieberman, John Kerry or Richard Gephardt if the Presidential election were being held today. The margin or error for a survey of 500 likely voters is +/- 4.36%.

51 and 49 are the same exact number in this poll. There is no difference between the performanc of any of the Dems versus Bush.

If Bush stays within 10 points in New Jersey, he wins at least 40 states. If he wins NJ, 49 or 50 is a possibility.

Dems ought to get Mondale to run so they'll at least get one state.

Mondale is the only American politician to lose statewide in all 50 states. He is to be commended.

I think Mondale did win Minniesota, but just barely. He did win DC, but if a Rat ever loses DC, that will mean the Rat party is toast.

If GWB is to win in NJ in 2004, we might as well cancel the election, as there will be no doubt as to the outcome. Actually, it is hard for me to think that Corzine, Lautenberg, and McGreevey will let Bush win in their state.

Ready to see the NY Times headline when this happens!

ULTRACONSERVATIVE BUSH SWEEPS ELECTORAL MAP, CAPTURING 535 OF 538 ELECTORAL VOTES; DEMOCRATS BEATEN BACK IN CONGRESS; WOMEN, MINORITIES WORST AFFECTED THOUGH EVEN THEY VOTED FOR WACKY PRESIDENT IN DROVES

Mondull lost Minnesota against Norm Coleman running as a stand in for Wellstone last fall.. He lost the other 49 states against Reagan in 1984. If DC voted Republican ...

the democrat slander machine hasn't started working

I believe it has, considering everything that's been said about the war and carrier landing. Particulary the out and out lies by Bob(I'm ashamed to say he's from Florida)Graham. Nothing is sticking. The economy may be a weak point, but its health is basicly in our hands and not the president's. We have the money, we have the local influence and we can ,in a way, vote with our wallets. There is still, despite liberal efforts, a free enterprise system in this country that's alive and well that responds to smart and hard work.

Look out for that prisoner, illegal alien, muslim terrorist vote.

This is great news. Two-thirds of the state supported him on the war which was very significant. Meanwhile, McGreevey's approval rating was down to 26% last time I checked.

Looking to see that NY has awoken!! Where else in the world would Ms. Shillery have won a senate seat?!?!

Praying that our Great President George W. will hammer them here in NY..... I am working on educating anyone who will listen... lots of latinos... as a matter of fact - many are really hip to the republican direction - just that here in NY they never spoke with someone who shared with them another prespective.! Can you imagine that there are people who tell me that they never met a Republican before our encounter!! I have to laugh... when they find out we are in the 'arts/music' biz - they are even more curious.... uh..maybe republicans aren't so bad after all!!! UUNNNNbeeeeliveable!! (The so-called 'tolerent' party is the Most untolerent.)

Many people don't split the ballot. A Bush win in NJ will probably also mean other Republican victories.

Whose Senate seat is up next year? Corzine's? (Not sure)

Corzine is not up until '06. Let's assume Lautenberg does not serve his term out. How is he replaced?
