My word, I am learning a lot of tornadoes the last few days.
Tuesday night, we went through a watch in the basement. It hit four miles from us and multiple spottings of funnels much closer.
Our town does not even have sirens.

I have learned more about tornadoes since moving to Norman in 1997 than I would have ever thought! They test out the latest sirens here in this area as we are only two miles or less from the Storm Prediction Center and HQ of the National Weather Service who work in conjunction with the University of Oklahoma.
Really fascinating to see how advanced even our local TV stations are with broadcasting where the tornadoes are going to be by intersection and time. The advance warning in this area is amazing.
The local TV stations now have helicopters up surveying damage the best they can at night!
Here in Norman we haven't gotten any rain out of the storms yesterday that hit 7 miles north of us or tonight which was farther north. Weather here is really strange.
