Gary England is the best! And so are their storm chasers. Just said there was softball size hail falling. One of the stormchasers had to pull off as trees were falling around him.

Thanks..sheeshhh I'm tornado'd out already.

Unusual for Dallas too. We have had NOTHING here. Tornado watches every night but not a drop of rain. Normally the tornados roar thru here. Odd weather patterns.

man...does anyone see the hook echo on the radar now. Freaking unbelievable. Never seen one like that before. Looks almost like a hurricane.

These seems to be larger than yesterday as the power flashes are over a wider area. Power lines down on I-35.

Q: Why did the tornado cross the road? A:Because it was too heavy to pick up and fling out of the way ;-)
This is incredible. I'm sitting here with the road atlas looking at where you guys are reporting the tornados are. (No cable here, I'm in the boonies in VT).
Kind of makes me glad I live here, nutty state gov and all. Weather-wise, it's pretty benign except for the 9 month long winter and the occaisional ice storm.

That echo looks larger than the one in 1999. I don't know if I have seen a hook echo that large. Hook echo is two miles south of I-44 in the Luther area.

It would amazeing if this thing made it to Tulsa, didnt it put a tornado down about 40 miles West of Oklahoma City, how far is Tulsa from Oklahoma City about 100 miles?
To: yukong
Tornado is on the ground moving east-northeast along the Turner Turnpike at Post Rd. at 30 MPH.
