The school and more particularly the students chose to have two different proms. I didn't see Sonny Perdue standing on the steps daring the National Guard to integrate the dance...

I havent heard anyone including O'Reilly say that he should. All O'Reilly said is that Perdue was being a coward for not speaking out against a stupid, if not outright racist decision.

Of course, he refuses to challenge the Governor of West Virginia over that state's US Senator or other inanities...

Is Perdue an idiot? Arguably. Should he have said something about the separate proms? Perhaps. Is he wrong for not doing so? Please. Grow up.

What Perdue should be doing is working on getting the state a damn budget -- he pi$$ed off the time of the Legislature playing patty cake over the damn flag when that was supposed to be going on over the past two months. Coming up with a state budget is far more important than farting around giving an opinion on idiots in a prom.

Of course, Bill O'Reilly is too damn concerned about that prom to find out about the budget problems in Georgia thanks to Perdue and the Legislature. And that sort of inane behavior makes O'Reilly look like a moron, and all the "Talking Points" in the world can't change that.

He did more than that, this is not the Governor's issue.

Maybe a bunch of the kids got together to have a private prom where they could drink and listen to country music?

We haven't heard from them, and to make them out to be a lynch mob is wrong. They might be racists, I don't know, I haven't heard from them.

What more can you ask of a people? They send their kids to integrated schools, go to integrated restaurants and workplaces, their whole lives, on average, are far more racially integrated than the average white non-Southerner.

Blacks are no longer in danger, they have secure voting rights, and Atlanta is a city where blacks thrive politically, financially and culturally.

There is no way to prevent several dozen teenagers from having a private prom.

How is this worse than kids whose parents fled to suburbia (as a reaction to blacks) and send them to all-white private schools?

50 odd kids going to a private (perhaps racist) prom in the big scheme of things is not Georgia's biggest problem.
