A few years ago my department was debating what to call a new server that we were building for use as in internal webserver. I wanted it to be called Homer. Why? Because Depending upon who is thinking of the name, it could have one of 3 different meanings:

• Homer: A home run in baseball for the sportsfan.
• Homer: The classical poet for those with a literary bent.
• Homer: Doh! for the rest. :-)
