FOX ran a clip a little while ago where Lantos states he's still trying to verify this story with the CIA.

So, the tale is not cast in iron yet.

Lantos may just be spouting this story to make our own intelligence look bad in comparison with Israel's. We'll see.

you are exactly right - to the libs, we accomplished nothing because the Iraqi army laid down their arms and our intelligence was nothing without help from the Israelis. So far they haven't touched the record of the Patriot anti-missile batteries because it's too hot but they're grasping here.
