This subject is very controversial.
Here is a little help.
ABORTIONS, Legal or not. NOT. NEVER.
The term means ending a process before it is COMPLETE.
In this case, the only way to end the process before completion, is to KILL the processee. This is murder.

NOW, if a DOCTOR has to KILL a PRE-BIRTH fetus in order to SAVE the LIFE of the HOST(mother), then that is SELF-DEFENSE (Doctor performing the defense for the mother).

The Doctor or Mother have decided they know better than GOD and they can decide who lives or dies.
They then must accept the fact that they KILLED a human being, and live with that knowledge.

There are many situations where KILLING is legal.
It never makes it RIGHT or easy to live with later.

The argument over LEGAL ABORTION should end, as there is really no such thing.

There is KILLING another by reason of SELF-DEFENSE, as I mentioned, but that is not an ABORTION.

ABORTION, again, truly means stopping the process of bearing a live child. There is no excuse for doing this.

Okay. But it's still abortion. It's ending a process before it is complete. The act doesn't change simply because of the circumstances. If an intruder breaks into my home and I shoot him, it's still homocide, even if it's legally justified.

Actualy, it is legal. Whether or not it should be legal is the issue of debate, but currently abortion is legal within the United States of America. It's kind of like junk e-mail. Even though senders of junk e-mail are horrible monsters who should be put to death, it's still technically 'legal' in most of the United States.

Oh, using CAPITAL LETTERS on select WORDS does not make your point any MORE correct.

While my comments were mostly directed at Flipper4's labeling of "pathetic", I included you because I thought that, though your comments were much more gently phrased, they were still rather damning, especially in light of Flipper's earlier post. It seemed a little like ganging up on someone over nothing.

Tammy Bruce is a very courageous woman. Her new book, "The Death of Right & Wrong" is excellent - I highly recommend it if you'd like to truly see where the Left is coming from and what their true mindset and motives are. She knows - she's been there.

I had her first book - she is great. I had been considering buying this one (Amazon has it paired with Mona Charen's book, "Useful Idiots", as one of their specials), and after reading this, I've decided I'm going to do it.

The bit about the champagne sounds about like what you find when you look in on DU: breathtaking ugliness.

She's not very courageous, and she's not very smart.

While I see the point you're making, I strongly disagree with this. Anyone entrenched in the extreme Left who walks away (David Horowitz is another good example), who is shunned by practically their entire social circle to stand for something - well, I call that courageous, AND smart.

In spite of disagreement over some points big and small, we should give this woman credit for what she's done, in my opinion. It takes guts.
