Good news considering the area! Look for a landslide in 2004!

Sen. Clinton has a 52 -- 36 percent approval rating

So much for those who claim that Hillary!'s antics since taking office have alienated New Yorkers.

No one apparently notices the reporting about her falsifying records of meetings with 9/11 survivors, etc.

You people who claim that Hillary! is toast in NY are just engaging in wishful thinking.

This won't stop her. Thank you, Lord, for providing evil with the arrogance to destroy themselves.

Good news for 2004, but look out in 2008 she'll be in the game

I'll say. Bush is too well liked -- regardless of the economy -- to have much of a chance of losing against these uninspiiring potential opponents the dems have put up. We have to remember the charisma factor that got Clinton elected, and the fact the old Herbert walker wasn't exactly considered a man of the people

I think there will be a landslide too for Bush! Bush needs to keep getting out there to the people (something his father didn't do that much). People want to know that president is not afraid to get out there and talk to them. Bush is a people person! He connects more than any other president! I can't wait! BUSH/CHENEY 2004!!!

I think the reason New Yorkers stick with the clintons, and always will, is the "issue" of "sexual freedom." The clintons, better than anyone else (even in a sense EMK) epitomize the libertine, loose sexual mores practices in the nation, including especially NY.

You think Hillary has had sex since she conceived Chelsea? YOU'RE HIGH! Oh wait, you meant their advocation of it. Okay, never mind then. I agree.

Much like those California poll numbers that came out recently that show Bush leading, this spells disaster for the Democrats. They now have to devote precious resources defending territory that in the past they never needed to, thus putting the GOP over the top in the other areas that they (the Dems) hoped to be competitive in throughout the country.

""Meanwhile, New Yorkers want Hillary to stay home. They'd rather have her call Chappaqua home than to try going back to Pennsylvania Avenue."

I find this rather remarkable . . you would think that after 9/11 grandstanding, the Whitewater Scandals, FileGate, TravelGate, and all the terrible examples of carpetbagging New Yorkers would have achieved a better sense of truth and reality.

Oh well.

Not all, no, but the majority in such states as NY, MA, etc. do see the clintons as successful examples of the "sexual freedom" they crave. Isn't that an accurate statement?

Okay! Should everything go well, and should Democrats nominate Howard Dean, it will be 50 states for the President!

Who knows what Hillary does or does not do? The fact is that she is the epitome, along with her "husband," of "sexual freedom." It's really the mainstreaming of Hefner's "Playboy" philosophy. This could also be a reason that feminists and most liberals strong support "abortion rights" too.

In 2008 I can see her winning New York, California, most of the Northeast, but that's about it. I think the realists in the DNC know that she'll lose since she's a polarizing figure, but everyone is too afraid to speak out for fear of retribution. Actually, it's pretty funny.

The kwin-uhhhh-pee-ack! poll almost always tilts left. This is actually better news than it looks. Proof in the pudding is the idea that Sen. Chucky Cheese is popular with Republicans. If you'd vote for Chucky, you have no business calling yourself Republican.

I'd skew the results about five points to the right to get the actual sentiments of New Yorkers.

Actually most major cities are like that. Most cities enjoy more freedoms (not just sexual) without having neighbors looking over their shoulder and commenting about their ways than they do in most rural areas. There is a free feeling even when you are walking around the cities (especially New York). You don't have to conform or act a certain way - you can dress the way you want without people even taking a second glance at you. Most people in cities tend to respect other people's habits. Most people go to the cities to live for those freedoms. But that doesn't mean that city people aren't religious either. I go to St. Patrick's Cathedral and it is soo packed that it is usually standing room only. But Your statement is correct in that city people don't want politicians trampling over their freedoms which is why they probably think Democreeps are best (I personally think they are ill-informed!)
