Democratic Presidential candidate Howard Dean on Wednesday for Senator Rick Santorum to resign his leadership post after the lawmaker compared homosexuality to bigamy, polygamy, incest and adultery.
'Gay bashing is not a legitimate public policy discussion, it is immoral.
Rick Santorum's failure to recognize that attacking people because of who they are is morally wrong makes him unfit for a leadership position in the United States Senate.'

To: chachacha
No, prick, it was your claim that I expose my children to perversity. And you wouldn't say that to my face without regretting it.

Anybody who thinks sodomy is a "right" is perverse.
To: JohnnyZ
Johnny, go back to school. Abuse is assault. Abuse is illegal whether it is sexual or not. The government can regulate that. Prostitution is commerce. The government can regulate that. However, if a woman says she'll have sex with you for dinner and a movie, the government can't regulate that. If you are going to talk about government, you should learn something about it.

Ever had oral sex, mabelkitty?
A "right" is anything the government can't stop you from doing. I have a "right" to do all kinds of sick things.
Anyone who contends that the government should regulate any and every act she considers "perverse" is not a conservative.

Our government is not God's. It is debasing to God to equate Him with our government. Whether one follows God's law is between him/her and God - not the government. Why don't you tell us all where the government obtained the right to enforce what you consider to be God's law?
Again - who told you that you were conservative?

How does it matter if a criminal activity, such as abuse or gay "packing", takes place in private? You're saying that some criminal activity is only criminal in public and some is constitutionally protected in private?
You have no clue.
Also, YOUR QUESTION TO MABELKITTY IS SLIMY AND YOU SHOULD TAKE IT BACK -- IT IS NOT ACCEPTABLE POSTING

Johnny, it is obvious that school won't do you any good.
Is it okay for you to masterbate at home?
Is it okay for you to masterbate in the school auditorium?
Point. Set. Match.

You need to watch it, your water-carrying for the gay movement has taken you far beyond polite discourse.
If there were a LAW against masturbation it would be illegal in either setting. There is a LAW in this case against gay "packing".

Are you mentally deranged?
Some subjects of moral importance are "off limits" just because you think they are not nice to think about?
To: lugsoul
The LORD says you are the company you keep. If your children turn out your way. Blame him.
This debate has ended.
To: eaglebeak
The Senate is capitalized. Perhaps you are the one still in school.
To: JohnnyZ
You are in no position to give lectures on polite discourse.
So now we are all clear on YOUR position. If the government chose to outlaw masturbation, that would be fine and dandy, completely Constitutional, and would not infringe on anyone's rights.
What in the world do you think conservatism is?

We know what he was talking about. But it is a huge breach of journalistic ethics to misquote a person.
To: chachacha
There is no debate. You would have to have a viable position for there to be a debate.
I hope your children, if you have any, have more sense than you.

I will, but only to wretch on the paper.

I know it is not the philosophy of licentiousness.
There has to be a balance between your libertarian excess and the need to have order.
To: shadeaud
incident will get legs for sure. It's only Wednesday and by Friday, Santorum's name will be on the lips of every network newsreader as Lott jr. The media is on pretty thin ice here, folks. The first news story highlighting these comments was filed by Associated Press writer Lara Jakes Jordan. The campaign manager for the Kerry For President campaign is Jim Jordan. They are husband and wife. Yes, you read that correctly. The reporter who made this whole thing an issue is the wife of John Kerry's campaign manager. |
