I have a number of Iranian and Turkish friends and they are all too familiar with the radical fundamentalist brand of Islam. To a man, they say the only way to stop this threat is to destroy it. No compromise, no quarter given. Until we realize our culture is in a fight to the death, we cannot win. We must be coldblooded and ruthless in this regard, or we will pay a very high price in the not too distant future.
