In addition, as ice changes from new-snowfall type ice to glacial ice, there is about a 90 to 1 compression. This information was known before the Creationists started making their claims.

This thread began with a discussion of a cartoon that is insulting to Christians who simply believe in what the Bible says: God Created Man from nothing in less than 24 hours.
Now, there are some evolutionists who had to jump on this thread who also claim they are Christians. I would ask them to consider this question:
If Evolution is correct, then why do we need the redemptive work of Christ? Does not the Bible teach that according to the redemptive work of Christ, man was created perfect but he fell in sin and CHrist was promised to restore the man to his original perfection? If evolution is correct, then the Bible itself is not a revelation of God, nor is Christ the Son of God, but the Bible would be reduced to a product of man himself, seeking to find something higher and better.
If evolution is true, then sin did not cause death, and therefore we do not need redemption from sin that, according to the Bible, causes our death.
Evolutionists who also claim to be Christians cannot have it both ways.

In addition, as ice changes from new-snowfall type ice to glacial ice, there is about a 90 to 1 compression. Even with 90 to 1 compression from one inch snowfall (if true, you have given no supporting evidence for your claim) wou would need a mile of snowpack for every 5 million years. Let's see, the earth is close to 5 billion years old so the snow in greenland must be a thousand miles high correct?????
