Good think you "know better". But if you do know better, why would you post the slanderous accusations anyway?

Her credentials include being on the PAID staff of Alan Keyes, working for conservative Republicans, and belonging to the Constitution Party. That's pretty conservative, hardly a troll.

Maybe the problem is that too many Freepers AREN'T really conservative and they get their panties in a bundle when a real conservative shows up and puts them to shame.

Judging from her posts, she comes across as a caricature of a conservative. If I had to guess which former Republican candidate for president she is associated with, I would pick either Buchanan or Keyes. Buchanan's antisemitism has doomed him. Keyes is no antisemite and is certainly a bright and fiery speaker. But he is rigid almost beyond comprehension and is thus wholly unelectable.

Successful politics is not about being rigid unless you're an authoritarian like Saddam Hussein and can enforce your political views at the point of a gun. Politics in the United States is a about flexibility and persuasion--even more so in the post-Clinton polarized world in which we live. No candidate for president can hope to win (and actually have a chance to meaningfully influence the course of important matters) unless that candidate shows an ability to be flexible.

As for jael, her comments evidence rigidity and scab-picking--just the sort of behavior you would expect from a DU troll pretending to be conservative and trying to discredit FR.

Well, that explains everything...except, I wonder if she ever discussed her personal theory about Mother Teresa currently burning in Hell with her Roman Catholic boss?

Uh huh. Yep, that must be it. And a TRUE conservative, one can presume, has the following qualities: integrity, intellectual honesty and a conservative value-system.

Your gal had NONE of these, if behavior on these boards is any indication. She trolled threads to cause dissent and take the threads off topic. She made herself the center of attention...and played the Drama Queen to the hilt.

She would,

1) make an inflammatory statement;
2) illicit responses;
3) twist or misstate those responses;
4) and when the poster(s) attempted to correct the spun or twisted response(s), jael would claim victim status and ping the moderator or JimR to defend her.
5)If that tactic didn't fully get her the attention she desired, she would claim to have inside influence with the owner of this forum.

VERY dishonest and without the integrity expected from your so-called TRUE conservative. I can say this with a perfectly straight face and surety in my heart, jael reaped what she sowed----big time.

So please.....do NOT play the 'true conservative' card on this topic. If you think she was so wronged.....follow her out the door. Your defense of the indefensible is pretty pathetic.

I agree.. Jael often took a hard line Christian stance that was not popular with the everyone. But I also often take such a stance myself and have butted heads with the same people here.

But I like to know the hard line stuff too. Jael did add to the forum in my opinion. I don't know what she/he said today that got under some people's dander (and it may of been offensive) but I do see with the linking back in time that some have had their eyes on Jael for a while.

I do so hope Jael is just temp gone. She often offered meat to the discussion at times instead of fluff. Sometimes the timing was off, but so what, that is life. I do so hope that people are not afraid to state that people who do not take Jesus Christ as their personal savior do go to hell when they die. It may tick a few people off, but Jael was not afraid to say it. Neither am I. Hope I am not banned for holding that view. But it is my belief.
