No, too gruesome for a poll. Just wondering how they are going to setup the sequence of events that he had to perform for the trial.

I do remember you... .I don't think he beheaded her either. I think it just has to do with natural decomposition. I'll be sure to ping ya..

Crime lab technicians were comparing DNA swabbed from the mouths of Laci Peterson's parents and taken from Laci Peterson's hairbrush with samples from the two corpses. Can you even imagine having the inside of your mouth swabbed for DNA to confirm your daughter's death?

I don't think his attorney will count on the insurance money to defray defense costs either.

But they said, when he heard about the bodies found "he was distraught."
He definately was not distraught over the possibility that the bodies could be Laci and Connor, no, he was distraught because the bodies had surfaced, he had messed up again and he was about to be found out. Remember he did not say that he did not hurt or kill Laci. His reponse was they have nothing to hold/charge me with or something to that effect.

I think what happened is they had a big blow-out, over either his infidelity(ies) or his desire to not be home/around Laci and her family when he should be home and around Laci.
Holiday's have a way of bringing things to a head. And since he was sneaking around, the resulting tensions might well have exploded in angry confrontation.
Somebody might have threatened to leave the relationship, either Laci or Scott. More likely she confronted him, he tried to not discuss anything and she (naturally) wouldn't back off. So, enraged at being caught, first he pops her, then he beats her up and then he kills her.
And then, he tries to get away with it.
Premeditation might have been necessary, perhaps the evidence will show it. His double life is creepy enough, but It's his "Sopranos" fascination is REALLY creepy in hindsight.
It must have at least occurred to him that he might be rid of responibilities related to his marriage and impending fatherhood, by killing her and hiding the body.
Whether he didn't want to pay the way divorce would make him pay, or didn't want to go to jail for beating up his pregnant wife, I don't know, but he is one cold, selfish, depraved and disgusting human being.

The husband of missing Laci Peterson was arrested in San Diego for the murder of his wife Friday evening, according to law enforcement sources.
Sources said Scott Peterson was arrested without incident and that police were aware of Peterons location for the past few days.
The arrest comes in the wake of two grisly discoveries last week, when the bodies of a baby boy and a pregnant woman were found in San Francisco bay.
Scientists have conducted DNA tests on both of those bodies and the results are expected to be released in a news conference at 9 p.m. EDT.
Law enforcement sources have told Fox News that, ever since the case first opened, they believed Peterson was responsible for the murder. They suspected him of throwing his wife's body into San Francisco Bay and securing it with concrete blocks, hooks and fishing weights.
Peterson has denied any role in the murder.

Laci Peterson's Husband Arrested
April 18, 2003
By KOMO Staff & News Services
MODESTO, CALIF - Scott Peterson was taken into custody in San Diego County Friday afternoon, arrested, according to a spokesperson for his family, for probable cause in the disappearance of his pregnant wife Laci, ABC News reports.
Earlier this week, the badly decomposed bodies of a woman and baby were found washed ashore in San Francisco Bay.
DNA analysis is still being done, but earlier police had said that once a positive identification was made, Scott Peterson would be arrested.
Laci Peterson has been missing since last Christmas Eve. Her husband Scott says he last saw her that morning when he left to go fishing at the Berkeley Marina -- not far from where the bodies washed up.
Her disappearance touched off a massive search, during which Scott Peterson's behavior raised some eyebrows. He sold his missing wife's car, considered putting their house on the market, and eventually admitted that while Laci was pregnant, he had been having an affair with another woman. Police did not name him as a suspect, nor did they clear him.
In January Peterson went on national TV to try to clear his name, saying he had nothing to do with Laci's disappearance.
But many were unconvinced. A sign on Scott Peterson's lawn appeared Friday that read: "The only one wanted in our deck of cards is Scott Peterson."
Modesto, Calif. police have scheduled a news conference for Friday evening with more details in the case.

They oughta cancel Jackie's "show", too!
To: oceanview
He said Scott isn't guilty till proven guilty in a court of law, not in the media.
Plus some show he was going to be on tonight after the radio show cancelled him for tonight because they are going 24 7 Scott Peterson.
