Thanks. People are crazy, aren't they?

I don't think he dated her...his name was on a list of people who knew her....I think from class. There were two other murders in SLO during that time that some clown released from the Men's Colony committed.
He dated her. She went missing. She was never found.

There will be a movie about this case. I think they should name it "Arresto Modesto"! ;-)

Andrea Yates is guilty, she did it, she needs to away from society....but I believe that she was mentally ill at the time. Voices in her head, an uncontrllable compulsion to carry out the atrocities on her kids, whatever. She called the police on herself after she emerged from a psychotic episode. She is sick, twisted and despicable. But not, in my opinion, on the level with Scott. A lot of folks don't realize the significance of the religious beliefs of the Yates. I can't recall the name of the church they belonged to, or the pastor. He sounded like Rasputin, a real nut. Imo, Andrea Yates was driven over the edge trying to live up to an impossible religious standard. Her own words were to that effect: she wasn't perfect and she was hurting her kids, therefore she had to kill them so they could enter heaven. I am paraphrasing what she said. Couple that with her idiot husband who wants to get remarried and have another family. He said that right after Andrea was convicted, and he had a happy face on.
I don't believe Andrea Yates was despicable. What she did was despicable, her family's role was despicable, her husband's camera hogging idiocy was despicable. The children are dead and the real murderers walk free.
I have have had some first hand experience with religious lunacy.
Scott Peterson is completely sane, unlike Andrea Yates. Hang him from the highest tree....

Mrs. Wilkinson's husband. Heck, I don't know.
Mr. Wilkerson sounds like a DU conspiracy theorist.

LOL - she does good work, but she is clueless when it comes to current events!

Precisely the point that Furhman was making. Doesn't make sense, does it? Not a logical or believable alibi.
To: kcvl
Who knows at this point? There was also no need to KILL either of them! You are correct .. I don't care if Laci was the biggest *itch in the world .. there is NO REASON to kill her and their baby
If he didn't want to be married to her .. all he had to do is get a friggin divorce

You mean you met someone with life outside of FR? The horror!

Let's just say he wishes cable would stop carrying shows like Trading Spaces or While You Were Out. He just looked at me and said, "I can't imagine why he would have done it." L-O-L !!
To: kcvl
It's just beyond comprehension.
To: Mo1
Right on. Scott will probably end up telling the world what a nagging, bitchy wife she was.
One thing's for sure, Scott is not capable of empathy. He has some serious psychosis going on.

You know what? Greta is right. I was at the hairdresser today and she knew NOTHING about the Laci Peterson case. She doesn't watch any news. I was dumbfounded..... Think that is bad .. last summer I was out front talking with some neighbors
Long story short, we started talking about Fidel Castro .. and my one neighor had no idea who Castro was
I'm STILL shaking my head over that one

Then think of Navy burials at sea. Never hear of those body's washing a shore...-- California Coast Those body's are in deep -really -deep -deep -waters,those are wrapped and weighted... The casket has to have bands around it so it won't come open. 20- 3 inch holes are drilled and it has to be weighted to 300 pounds. Usually buried way out to sea. My father was buried 150 miles from the coast. They are very specific about the regs for burial.
