So 40 pounds?

Investigator on Smart case on Greta said did not find a connection between Scott and Kristin. Kristin's body never found. Sounded like they may look at it again.

I FOUND THESE, THESE CAN BE USED ON WRISTS ALSO
For every level of athlete. Weight can be adjusted from 0 to 20lbs. offering 6 different weight increments. Dual Closure System (DCS)* customizes fit and secures the weights in the correct position for training. Triple layered, Integrated Neoprene sleeve and molded foam padding protect the wrist and ankle, and provide enhanced comfort during use. Microshot steel weights are a flexible and comfortable alternative to conventional weight bars.

Kristin's body never found Morro Bay?

The fact is that Scott Peterson abruptly left a scholarship at this university and came home to his parents, where he continued his education at a local school.I believe that this was at ANOTHER university--Univ. of AZ....had heard/read that he was there for one semester and left abruptly to return home....and that his parents didn't even know for sure why he'd come home. This was different that the school he was at with the K. Smart connection. And just because the police/private eyes cannot find a link between him and K. Smart, doesn't mean there isn't one! I hope they're looking at this very, very, very, VERY close!

I wonder how many he bought? 2 or 4? 40 or 80 lbs? Still not enough weight, IMHO, to hold her down. I'm guessing that the three "missing" homemade cement weights were used as well.
To: Nita Nupress
Okay, suppose you HAD to choose... Who is more evil? This guy (assuming he's guilty), a man who murdered his wife and totally defenseless unborn baby in cold blood and with calculated preciseness? OrAndrea Yates, an alledgedly mentally-ill woman who killed 5 of her kids in cold blood and with calculated preciseness? Not that there is a correct answer. I just felt like starting a food fight. :-) Wooohooo, some fruit and Jello salad coming your way!!
Rusty Yates is another character I have a bad feeling about. Actually the whole damn family was in denial over Andrea's mental condition. Oh she pulled a comb through her hair today? Well that just proves she's ok. Note how Rusty stated that he was ready to remarry and start a new family. Holy sh*t.
It's a sick, strange world these days...

That theory is the death occurred in the house and Scott panickedAnkle weights.
Tidal charts.
Cement anchors made days before the murder?
That's not an accident.
To: CheneyChick
I concur!! I can't wait also for ALL the other evidence that the MPD has in sealed warrants. There HAD to have been pretty substantial evidence left in that house for them to make it a crime scene and to also state that they had come to the conclusion that Laci had died as the result of a VIOLENT crime. Remember that one. It's even stated somewhere on the Laci Peterson website. This is gonna be a doozy in my opinion!!

Going fishing on christmas eve is not all that odd .. but driving 6 hours to only fish for 1 hour, that sure would raise a few eyebrows

Comming up on Greta...interview with a fisherman who may have insight as to what happened to the body.
To: Mean Maryjean
Me too. I have a sneaking hunch that Scott has done this before.

Dear Lord - I just got home and turned on the news..... Part of me was really hoping that she was still alive. How horribly awful for her family!!!
Precious Lord, comfort this dear family - let them know that You hold sweet Laci and Connor in Your loving arms until the time comes that they may embrace them again.

I have been on the other side of "raising the bar", and I can almost predict what is going to be said by the "skeptics" or defense attorneys :~)
But this is a forum, so we'll just Buckle up...the ride is gonna get wild and bumpy.

I have no clue. Haven't heard the evidence they've got and haven't even thought about it. The ankle weights could be purchased quickly with a body waiting at home and I thought I heard the cement anchors were for some unfinished outside project. I have no idea.
To: Theodore R.
You know, the late socialist novelist Theodore Dreiser wrote a two-part novel about a case similar (but less flamboyant) than this one. In "An American Tragedy" Dreiser seemed to blame the capitalist system for fostering a climate in which a man would feel compelled in that case for financial reasons to murder his pregnant girlfriend. Wasn't the character named Clyde Griffiths? Was the movie role played by the late Montgomery Clift?
I assume this is the same Dreiser who H.L. Mencken was so fond of and collaborated with in the periodical The Smart Set. Mencken wrote a favorable review of Dreiser's second novel Jennie Gerhardt, but Theo's work apparently took a turn for the worse after his first book. I gleaned this from Terry Teachout's excellent new book: The Skeptic-A Life of H.L. Mencken.
