I don't know how you select your TV programs but I never took the race of the cast as a factor. Unlike you I don't try to find problems where there are none. I like Friends for it's humor not who's telling the joke.

I actually have selected TV based on the race of the cast but that's because in the early and mid 90s all black comedies consisted entirely of LOTS OF PEOPLE SCREAMING AT EACH OTHER REALLY LOUD. So I avoided them (you can always spot black comics from that era because they still yell constantly, Chris Rock is a shining example). Recently black comedies have learned how to speak in conversational tones (largely lead by the comics from the movie The Original Kings of Comedy, all of whom are pretty damn funny), so I don't worry about it anymore.
