The actor-activist accused the Bush administration and other supporters of the war of a campaign of intimidation to silence those who disagree with them.
I don't seem to understand your charge of intimidation. From the coverage you have been given, it appears that this statement is not true. Over the last few days you have been quoted in many place about your thoughts on the war with Iraq, and your thoughts about President Bush.
If I am correct, I have not seen any direct reply form the President concerning your slanted rantings.
There are brave men and women who through the ages have died to allow you to rant about all kinds of ego driven thoughts you have.
This great country where you live, make a good living and rant about intimidation is one a just a very few that this type of speach is not restricted.
Maybe instead of whining, you should be thankful that you have your little soapbox to stand on and spout your ego driven thoughts.
If this great country is so bad, maybe you could move to Iran, Syria, North Korea, etc. I'm sure they would be happen to put up with your rantings.
Oh wait, if I remember correctly they would arrest you put you in jail and you would never be seen again.
Wake up moron, America is not such a bad place to live. If you still feel the same about where you live, there are no chains keeping you here. It's your choice, but please no more whining like a spoiled little baby.

The actor-activist accused the Bush administration and other supporters of the war of a campaign of intimidation to silence those who disagree with them. Why haven't we heard from Robbins championing the RIGHTS OF CONSERVATIVE ACTORS, ACTRESSES, SINGERS/SONGWRITERS, PUBLIC SERVANTS when those people have been intimidated, called foul names, blacklisted from acting parts? WHERE WAS ROBBINS, SARRANDON, SHEEN, and their ilk to defend conservatives who were attacked for speaking out?
1. When George Clooney made fun of Charlton Heston for having Alzheimers and then he had the audacity to defend himself: "When asked by Ms. [Liz] Smith if the remark went over the line, Clooney replied: 'I don't care. Charlton Heston is the head of the NRA; he deserves whatever anyone says about him.'"
SILENCE. 2. Colin Powell/Condi Rice, when Harry Belafonte said they are Uncle Toms, serving the Master in the House
SILENCE. 3. Charles Rangel, when he said our military are "bombers of women and children."
SILENCE. And these are only recent comments. This kind of ugliness has been occurring for years. What's the matter, Robbins, you can dish it out but can't take it, yourself?
THE SILENCE WAS DEAFENING!!
P.S., Mr. Robbins: It ain't the Bush Administration who's doing anything to you and your ilk, it's us, the American people, many of whom are now in the military fighting this war, who've lined your pockets and allowed you to fly your private planes and get those lucrative acting parts---we've been the ones who've paid for all those movie tickets, CD's, concert tickets. WE'RE THE ONES WHO AREN'T BUYING IT, ANYMORE.

Maybe Robbins would be happier if someone from the White House got him a fruit basket.

How does 93 percent translate into bitterly divided?I think it is the 7% that Robbins represents who are bitter.

Actor and anti-war activist Tim Robbins said Tuesday that "it is time to get angry" over the Bush administration's alleged reprisals against opponents of the war.
An outright lie and paranoid delusion. This guy actually thinks the White House is after his sorry little ass! It's the American public that rejects what this creep has to say.
The White House has far better things to do than to sully his name.

I heard part of his rant yesterday. He spoke of a nephew who stood up and said,"
STOP IT." when a teacher made a comment.
Robbins needs to know that we yell out the same thing when we see peace rallies that carry signs saying,"We support our troops, when they kill their officers. or when see American flags with Nazi symbols drawn on them.

Man ! How moronic can one person get?
And, apparently he never heard that when you find yourself in a hole, the FIRST rule is to STOP DIGGIN' !! . . .

Although I don't watch him as much as I used to, O'Reilly had a great response to Timmy last night. Can anyone find it and post it?

Of course, like another person said, Robbins is delusional, so he doesn't
know he's in a hole I guess (doesn't have a clue) . . .

"A message is being sent through the White House and its allies in talk radio...[that] if you oppose this administration, there can and will be ramifications," Robbins claimed. Actions have consequences, Timmy. Trent Lott made one wrong comment at Strom Thurmonds birthday dinner and there were ramifications that Robbins probably was more than happy to help inflict.

Message to Tim: President Bush has bigger issues to deal with than your whiney drivel. Your self-importance goes unnoticed by people who have real things to do in this world. None of the real things in our society are centered around your make-believe world.

"And a full 93 percent of those surveyed say they believe U.S. military efforts in Iraq have gone very well (73 percent) or somewhat well (20 percent) so far."
Robbins said:
"A unified American public has grown bitterly divided,"
Seems like Robbins needs a math lesson. How does 93 percent translate into bitterly divided?
I am among the 93 percent who thinks that the war has gone well. I'm amazed at what our military is able to do. But that does not mean that I think the war should have happened. That's probably what Robbins meant by "bitterly divided".
