Son of a fricking b*tch...what is wrong with people?

I lurk and sometimes post at a website for wives of deployed spouses. There is a dude who for some reason posts his liberal, anti-American, anti-war views there (all under the guise of free speech). You would think he would have enough sense to know that spouses of deployed personnel do not want to hear or read his crap..but this is his most recent POS(HE is the president of the local ANSWER chapter, btw).

" The report of widspread jubilation is a hoax...the image of the statue being torn down is a very tight shot. Here is a wider shot: pic

quote:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This wide-angle photo by Reuters of the toppling of Saddam Hussein's statue in central Baghdad arouses suspicions that the "spontaneous jubilation" by the Iraqi masses shown on television around the world was a "media event" orchestrated by the Pentagon. Rather than a spontaneous mass demonstration, the photo clearly shows that only a couple hundred Iraqis participated in the largely empty and heavily guarded Fardus Square. American tanks and troops surrounded the square and one armored vehicle "helped" the Iraqis pull down the statue. In the upper part of the photo, it appears that normal traffic into the square has been blocked by American troops. Conveniently, this square is in close proximity to the Palestine Hotel, which houses journalists covering the war. The timing of the activities is also suspicious; the wrecking of the statue occurred during the morning shows on the American television networks. The motive for this seemingly staged event: In the wake of reports of an ambivalent Iraqi reaction to an invasion billed as one designed to "liberate" Iraq, the Bush administration badly needed television pictures showing Iraqi popular support."

This shows us the wisdom of Jim Robinson's creation: people like that are given the boot. We can go read their loony opinions on their own web sites if we want to go slumming.

Meanwhile, a post like that here would draw the Wrath of the Viking Kitties.

First, that "man" who posts at the other message board, is a POS. Real cute, go after wives of deployed servicemen. That's really manly to attack a bunch of women.

Second, he is obviously mental. THOUSANDS of people watched this event unfold live and unedited on web-cameras. Who do they think was orchestrating this whole thing? That line of Marines who were sitting on the curb watching along with us?? This type of person who would spew such idiocy will never listen to the truth even if were to talk up to them and smack them in the face. They will always find reason and excuses to fit thier point of view.

This story about the statue that the libs are passing around reminds me of the "where's the plane in the Pentagon" story. Remember? Sick that they have to take real events and call them a "hoax".

And this person had the gall to say the reports of *widespread* jubilation are false, then uses ONE instance that doesn't even support his evil lie?

Of course his lies are cruel and evil. We have seen hundreds of scenes all over Iraq of jubilation and statues coming down and Saddam's mug being beaten with shoes.

Tell everyone there not to worry about such curmudgeons. They exist everywhere. The truth is that Iraqis all over the country hauled down, burned down, and tore down statues, pictures and posters that were everywhere from town squares to home bedrooms. What happened in Baghdad was not an isolated event, although it was a pretty impressive one since so many in the world were familiar with it. That is the important fact.
