I'm still striking out with names... I can remember her "page" has some great pictures of her in garb, and she says something like, "sometimes I'm a warrior, sometimes I'm a princess"... those being the two parts of her name, but I can't seem to pick it out.

The Daily Telegraph ^ | April 17, 2003 | Neil Tweedie and Ben Rooney
Australian SAS troops have captured up to 60 Ba'ath Party leaders and Fedayeen fighters as they attempted to flee into neighbouring Syria. The captures in north-western Iraq this week underline the unsung role that Australia has played in the war against Saddam. Key among the 2,000-strong Australian contingent is a squadron of about 150 Australian SAS, highly respected in the special forces world. They worked closely with British and American counterparts and were involved in the seizure of air bases in western Iraq. A military spokesman said the Australians, like the British, preferred to operate in "grey", not worrying about...

rintense calls herself the Republican Warrior Princess. She does the photo thread "A Day in the Life of President Bush." Is that who you are thinking of?
To: retrokitten
THANKS! That's it! Now who was that other FReeper I was thinking of...
Anyway, Xenalyte is the FReeper Viking Kitty I was thinking of in this context. She does have some interesting pics...
And she loves broadswords, she once told me.

Colmes is REALLY getting on my nerves lately. He is back to ruining the program with his constant talking over the Conservative guest. I tuned H & C out for about 3-4 months when he was that bad before. Looks like I stop watching FOX at that hour again if FOX can't make him button his f*****G mouth and let guests talk.

This story about the Aussie's war contribution is good to read. I suspect strongly that the service done by them, and the American and Brit Special forces may never be fully revealed. Nevertheless, it is my educated guess that many of the really good outcomes of this past month have been due to their efforts, and the incredible coordination of these fine folks.
Also, everyone, don't read only the first story. MadIvan posts another story in Post#18 about the Polish warriors who worked with us.
