Yikes... up to 80 of the suicide vests seemed to be missing from the areas where they found the 310 and others.

Also, given the number of weapons caches they find everywhere, imagine how many caches of suicide vests are out there.

The current question to Brooks is about possible 18 Kuwaitis found from the Gulf War... that is about the same number as what Dr. Arnot mentioned were freed from the underground prison -- and the timing of Arnot's report and this question... I have a feeling they are the same people. Imagine being in an underground prison for 12 years. Holy cow.

Gen. Brooks: Still full [deck] but assistance from locals. Getting leads from GW1 and Iran-Iraq. Nothing to report about Kuwaiti found.

Local Fox channel this morning reporting that rescued POW Ronald Young, apache helicopter pilot, told his mother that the last few days they came across some people who treated them well. The rest of the time was "not too good."

Jeffrey Zaun (POW during Gulf War I) has said that the Iraqi military people treated him reasonably well but the secret police were abusive.

Every story we hear, it confirms more and more how sick and evil that regime was... I can't express how much I hope they put all the video from the embeds into a TV series. Like the "World at War" series when I was a kid... I could watch a program like that for a couple years!!

Good story about this: After the bombing in Baghdad got too close to their prison, they started getting moved every couple of days. With each successive transfer, their guards seemed to get more and more reluctant to have them in their "possession." They didn't want to be the ones holding the POWs when the Americans came a'calling. Kinda like POW Hot Potato. "No, you take 'em!" "I don't want 'em, you take 'em!"
