Seems she's worried about cutting her knees. Can you blame her? The most basic right we have as Americans is the right to earn a living in our chosen professions.

And at which prestigious institute of higher learning did you learn that astounding constitutional secret?

The most basic right we have as Americans is the right to earn a living in our chosen professions.Oh, REALLY? Which amendment is that in? Well, never mind... I choose to be a professional basketball player. It's my most basic right. If I am not picked for a team soon, I may sue them for violating my Constitutional right to be given other people's money for whatever I want. Do we have a Constitutional right to set our own salary, too? Oh, I bet we do!! Oh, Goody!

ONE of the most basic rights, maybe (this is probably the "pursuit of happiness" in the Declaration of Independence). But I would think life, liberty, freedom of religion, freedom of speech, among others, might be a little more basic that the right to earn a living.

Baloney. These celebrity half-wits want it both ways. They want to use their celebrity status as a vehicle to push their opinions, which is okay, but then they squak when the consumers of their acts decide to use their entertainment money elsewhere.

I don't remember seeing that in the Constitution. Would you mind pointing that out.. you know, the part that says you can do and say whatever you want and people HAVE to pay you money for it?
Wouldn't the flip side be that WE have a constitutional RIGHT to not have to pay? I bet Saddam felt he had a right for making everyone 'adore' and pay him too.

We have no right to earn a living. It's not in the constitution, and it shouldn't be. It's a socialist idea.
We have the right to try to earn a living - the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Unfortunately, this dipwad just shot herself in the foot. Her pursuit of happiness through earning a living in her chosen profession just took a nosedive, and it's her own fault.
