Janeane Garofalo: 'I Have Nothing to Apologize For'

It looks like outspoken Iraq war critic Janeane Garofalo won't be honoring her pledge to apologize to President Bush anytime soon.

"I have nothing to apologize for," she told WABC Radio's Steve Malzberg, who requested an interview with the comedienne-turned-peacenik for his Sunday morning broadcast.

Malzberg tells NewsMax that instead of agreeing to the interview request, Garofalo boasted that her upcoming TV show on ABC is going forward despite a tidal wave of complaints received by the network.

"Boycotters are welcome to keep giving me tons of publicity," she dared before reiterating, "There will be no apologies."

Just five weeks ago, when Garofalo appeared on Fox News Channel's "The Pulse," host Bill O'Reilly asked what she would do if her predictions that the war would be a disaster turned out to be wrong. The contrite-sounding comic promised:

"I would be so willing to say I'm sorry, I hope to God that I can be made a buffoon of, that people will say you were wrong, you were a fatalist, and I will go to the White House on my knees on cut glass and say, hey, you were right, I shouldn't have doubted you."

Seems she's worried about cutting her knees.

Can you blame her? The most basic right we have as Americans is the right to earn a living in our chosen professions.

We have no right to earn a living. It's not in the constitution, and it shouldn't be. It's a socialist idea.

We have the right to try to earn a living - the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Unfortunately, this dipwad just shot herself in the foot. Her pursuit of happiness through earning a living in her chosen profession just took a nosedive, and it's her own fault.

Surprise, I really doubt that the White House thinks twice about anything you say, they have a lot to do these days besides being concerned about some two bit comedian who is living in a fantasy world thinking she is an expert because she has satellite TV.

I faxed the picture from Post #8 with her eating crow to the Agency. On the top it says "To whom it may concern: Ditch this worthless client. MJ Hickey - Bayville, NJ". That way at least someone has to look at it as opposed to just deleteing it from e-mail.

I caught some show on cable the other day of hers...some sports magazine or something is what it is about. I watched only a couple minutes. I will tell you this, I found her acting to be extremely shallow and she was not in character at all.....you could tell she was acting.

I am not a movie critic or tv critic and unlike a lot of folks, I don't go around saying "wow her acting was poor" etc. But, I can say that to my memory, this is the first person I have ever seen in which I can honestly say "She is a horrible actress." That is saying something...
