Good Morning All:
I never worry too much about details at this point because they're always wrong. But we've got some of them and hopefully information on others. That's great.
The news, I think was being broken by AFP rather than AP. Not sure which is worse.

This must be pure living hell for the families of any soldier missing or captured.
God Bless them all.

The six were found 95 miles north of Baghdad, rescued by Marines, according to Agence France-presse.
Maybe someone kept them as insurance in the event of capture.
Ollie is on... 3rd light armored recon battalion recovered at least 6 - don't know about a seventh.
Franks says they appear to be healthy.

They moved these POWs quite distance from where they went missing.

CNN broke the story first.
Their reporter said the Army had found signs in Baghdad that these prisoners had been there, but had been moved north.

Thanks for pointing that out. There are so many stories we would never know about without Freerepublic. I bet we get lots more lurkers and freepers because of this tread, I started lurking 1998 on the old whitewater because of the press coverage, but this is so much worse. Where is the coverage now they don't have minders? Children in jails, children in hospitals shots by small arms by regime, missing POWs from last war, new weapons from Russia, Syria, Jordan etc.,UN food and supplies storied and not given to the people, stories about the living condition before the war?
Who is reporting about the terrorist from other countries and their training camps? No headlines about the suicide vests in the school. Where are the reporters getting stories about the soldiers leaving and going home and what they were forced to do? I saw one interview. Where are the stories about all brave and wonderful things ours guys are doing everyday? Thanks to all for this thread so we have some truthful history.

Iraqi citizens still giving US soldiers information? I thought I read they all hated now because of the looting.

Ollie is there! Listen to his voice breaking.... how wonderful that he's there for our soldiers!

It's like the day that the statue came down. I knew there were lots of problems ahead, but just wanted to enjoy the moment. Didn't mean to throw cold water -- this is GREAT NEWS!
Anybody know if there's a CENTCOM briefing today?

Ollie is there, I can only hope that all 7 of our listed POWs are found. An even greater hope is that all of our missing are there.
