*If* it goes wrong, I see the anti-US (rather, pro-Iraqi) protests getting a lot of coverage. Hopefully that will be defused shortly by appealing to their better instincts (they responded to the call for doctors & engineers to line up so they could start aiding in rebuilding).

Watching the "protest" on Fox, it seems not to be a protest. It looks like a large number of people competing for a small number of jobs. They seem to be disciplining themselves. How much more moderate can they be? :)

I agree, I'm merely pointing out what I think the lefties are going to pick up on. There have been *small* outbursts; it seems to be dying down now (2:30 PM Iraqi time, people out in the afternoon with nothing better to do). But know thine enemy. If they HAD a chance to play up an anti-US protest, they'd do it.

It's funny...though CNN covered it briefly, there are no news reports about the looters who are returning the loot to a Mosque. Apparently someone wrote their cleric and asked if looting was ok. The muslim (shi'a) cleric said no. Word went out and people are returning loot. It was a breif story, but last time I checked radio news at the top of the hour they are still harping on how the looting is bad and worse.

There are times when I just give in to the mediots..... then I regain my senses and realize that Fox hasn't missed out on anything of importance and that even if they did, it would be here on FR. As for the lefties, we all know what garbage they follow.
