Watching this administration handle the media - you can really see a contrast to when you had a Klinton admin official handling the press. Looking back, I wonder how we even survived with such an inept administration.

The other thread still doesn't know what's going on either...and raised the issue, does the fact that these journalists were "packing" (guns) endanger other journalists? (Honestly, though, I'd think any journalist there would be nuts not to have a gun and would assume they had one...)

So has CNN screwed up the surrender by entering the area and firing at the Iraqi's? If anyone can do it, I imagine they can.....

The day you get me to admit that CNN is smart enough to "outwit" Tommy Franks and the rest of the people running this thing and "screw up" a surrender is the day I will eat my dirty underwear, tell everybody I think Monica Lewinsky is "classy, sexy, and slim", and also probably the same day that Saddam Hussein will show up on my TV telling me I'm under Iraqi control, don't panic. :-)

I cannot praise this plan enough. You KNOW when Myers gets fired up about it being a good plan...it's a good plan. Myers is the defintion of mild-mannered (well, "good soldier", when he needs not to be mild-mannered, I'm sure he's not).
