CNN is bad, but they're not...a bunch of Arnetts. They fired Arnett WAY before MSNBC/Nat. Geo picked him up, over the fake US-gassing crud he circulated (Laotia). One wonders why we even were listening to Arnett from NBC/MSNBC in the first place...maybe THEY'RE the spies...point your tinfoil antenna at The Daily Mirror. :-)

Pretty sudden, the camera just froze up & after waiting a minute they decided to cut from it & say they lost connection.

Side issue:

I know Christopher Hitchens, P.J. O'Rourke, and a couple of others were out being nuts as only they can be nuts in some kinda of SUV in Northern Iraq...I think Hitchens just got back...haven't heard about Peej...anybody have any links to stories regarding that? Right or wrong, those guys are fun reads. :-)

I don't know, I was reading here after a couple quick looks at CNN made me too nervous that I was about to see someone killed on live TV. It sounded like they went off a bit abruptly after stopping when someone had a head wound...then it sounded like they were on the move again and nothing since then? Can anyone add to this that was watching?

Looting coverage ad nauseum.

I was so proud of Rumsfled when he told the media they were overdoing the looting. He expressed a lot of our thoughts. So nice to feel represented finally. The museum looting was sad though. The cradle of civilization!

It went off air with Sadler talking rather calmly and seeming to indicate they were okay -- no sudden noises, shot of them driving, they had just accounted for everyone in the caravan, it just froze on a picture of the highway. Nail-biting, yes, but nothing I saw that is making my gut feel really bad...
