YIKES!

It's supposed to say, "I think I was wrong". But I'm not sure how to do past tense (J'ette?). So it really says "I think I AM wrong".
My daughter speaks French so I depended on her when we went to France. When she wasn't there I took my little French travel book. I am watching Fox so don't know if Dr. Bob is on the roof. Steve Carrigan is commenting. He is deferring to the general a lot for his expertise.

Right now, NTV's quiet.

Hey, grams, isn't this something??? Prayers of safety to our brave guys out there....NBC was just saying the greatest concern is that the marines shoot each other, they can only fire to certain degrees, left, right, to avoid hurting our own.
To: cajungirl
I totally agree...am thankful no one was killed from their stupidity! I couldn't believe that they were ignorant enough to go into the Republican Guard base...and then to try to get into the city. All the while exclaiming, "well, if we find no one here, then we will declare the war over!" Geesh..
Last night when we were watching it in real time, others were talking about "their passion," all I could think about was their ignorance.
To: Timeout
Look at those reporters near the Marines standing in the opening....with no helmut and flak jacket......stupid!!

whose idea was it to keep the money in a French Bank? Do they control how it's spent? The decision is ostensibly a UN decision, and the UN is ostensibly in control of making sure the oil money was spent according to the rules (food, medicine, etc.). But, see UNICEF (a UN organization) food hoarded by Iraqi leadership, and not distributed.
Anytime there is a central accumulation of control or wealth, there is more opportunity, and more motive, and greater gain, attributable to corruption. Central control is good for some things (e.g., our military), but using central authority for everyday activities is wasteful and invites corruption. It's the way of the world.

FoxNews Steve Harrigan and Rita Cosby commenting on journalists with marines. Journalists not prepared---no flapjackets, helmets. The word stupidity comes to mind. Probably same journalists who frequent CENTCOM/WH briefings.
Flares.
To: Dog
Steve Carrigan called them foolhardy.
