7 heading for Kuwait City. Apparently, all were able to move under their own power--no stretcher required.

Well, as of 8:30 AM EDT, Tikrit seems to be pretty much an "open city," we've recovered 7 soldiers "some of whom are POWs," and the focus is now on which of the "evil cards" we have picked up--CentCom says that we actually have more of these guys than we've announced.

Appreciate your caution, but the fact is that these people have NOT fought in the sense that you would have expected a national military whose country has been invaded to fight.

More than anything else, this has been about the refusal of the ordinary, non-Ba'athist Iraqi to protect a regime that has brutalized them for decades.

This is going to shake up a h*ll of a lot of "crowned heads" in that region. I suggest we haven't even begun to see the implications of all this. It's about much more than American military might and prowess--which are indisputable. It's about the fact that these tyrants can't expect their victims to stand up and fight for them.

This goes for Syria, Lebanon, Iran, North Korea, and others as well.

The axis of evil is hollow, through-and-through.
