I suppose I can count you in as being against the bombing of Hiroshima, given the data presented and your delicate "holier than thou" semsibilities. There were lots of innocents that died there to save other's, so come out now and say you're against that as well or shut that hole in your face. I'd shut it for you after your remark, but that's not possible.

I know you're not against Hiroshima because I know how you think. It's fine to have some unknown fly-boy drop ordinance from thousands of feet up, thousands of miles away while you sit in your "registered democrat" mid-west home and cheer at thousands of dead innocents. However you would never think of getting your hands dirty, you're too dainty for that.

I believe them now (post 911) when they say this is a struggle for survival and they want to kill us, all of us. We let them choose who died on 9-11 and one happened to be a good family friend. along with 500 people from my home town. I'd rather us choose who dies than the flat-earth animal Islamists. I'd rather kill them and thiers than them kill me and mine. The lives of sand-psychos who worship a pervert aren't nearly the value of the people I love.

While I emotionally sympathize with your approach, I don't think that type of retribution will work. Annihilation, yes; family-level vengeance, no. Why?

To cite just one example, in the recent unpleasantness with Nazi Germany, a sign appearing in the rubble of Hamburg and other piles of brick with city names was: "Unsere Mauer brechen, unsere Herzen, nicht." (Our walls may be broken, but not our hearts). Even with their world collapsing, the will to persist to the death was unrelenting...SS troops offered plasma by US medics would occasionally refuse the life-saving offer because they could not be assured it wasn't 'Jewish blood.' Radical Islam is no different.

Some levels of fanaticism cannot be dissuaded by any amount of logic, reality or coercion. The Islamonazis are indistinguishable from the Bushido mentality of the Japanese war cult, the followers of Pol Pot... We could take out every Jihadist family in the most grisly imaginable manner and these lunatics would still strap on a C-4 vest.

I think Bush has it about right. Crush the rogue states, uhh...'states of concern' per the striped pants at State, and over time, bleed the fanatics white of their means of terror.

We forget so easily what it took to elicit a surrender from the Empire of the Rising Sun. This war on radical Islam is no different. Sadly, very sadly.

Well, I find it interesting that you posted almost an entire message of 'me-bashing'. Did I ever say anything about my religous beliefs? I don't believe that I did...you are assuming things without knowing the facts (which is what I try to do--hence not making completely rash, set-in-stone opinions about Islam).

I have heard all of these things about Islam and what the religion tells people, but I have also heard that these are all false claims...I have a copy of the Koran, but, being a busy college student with many other things unrelated to college to do as well, I haven't found time yet to read this book. I am hoping that will be something I can accomplish right after finals. After that, I will let you know what kind of opinions I have about Islam...In the meantime, I will keep my opinion that it isn't an entirely evil religion, as you and others are trying to make it seem.

Now, it would seem to me that there isn't really much of anything else to discuss within this specific topic; unless any of you can give me specific page numbers within the Koran or Bible or any other good source that backs up the claims you have made.

If someone commits a suicide bombing, we kill their family. Grandparents, parents, siblings, wives, children.

To be quite honest AP, there's no pleasure in proclaiming such on a public forum. We all have to answer to God sooner or later.

Unfortunatly this insanity must be stopped, one way or the other. They've made it very clear - in words and deed - that they'll slaughter our women and children to just prove a point, and no counter measures have been effective to date. Not only are they sowing discord throughout the entire world, but they're now becoming a threat to our families personally.

Time to show them we're serious about putting a stop to their butchery. We haven't proven to them that if it's really a fight to the finish that they want, they'll lose.
