Why didn't Jordan/CNN alert Uday's two brothers-in-law?

I understand that they were out of the country.

I was wondering, since the sons-in-law were out of the country, why couldn't Jordan privately warn them? They could have just stayed out of the country and no one in Iraq would have been the wiser, right?

I remember well the story when they went back to Iraq and were murdered...it was creepy.
