Lester Holt irks my last nerve. Last nite he asked the camera man who filmed the fire fight why he wanted to take up arms........was it self preservation?
Bless the camera man (who was David Bloom's camera man) he said NO, IT WAS MORE LIKE ALL HANDS ON DECK.
This after showing the brave marines who continued to fire their weapons, one on a stretcher, and the other bleeding profusely but refusing help so he could keep firing.

Liddy is on now, but next Hannity will have (shudder) Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.
Seem to be a LOT of wankers spilling out of the woodwork tonight, if you ask me!

CNN. Tamara Al-Fifai, spokesperson for Red Cross in Kuwait City is complaining that all hopitals in Bagdad have been looted, ramsacked, no bed, no meds, no doctors, no nurses.
[While Tamara is running her rant, CNN split screen is showing a hospital, with beds, with patients, with nurses, etc.]
Who to believe? Depends on which agenda one wants to believe. Everyone has an agenda.
To: OldFriend
Did anyone just hear what G Gordon Liddy just said on H&C? About PFC Lynch being hung by her ankles and beaten? I hadn't heard that before.
To: Miss Marple
Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.....isn't he related to Teddy the Wankoholic?
To: cyncooper
I would have liked to have seen Al Douri take it and whack it with his shoe, though.
Well, Al Douri has taken the picture of Saddam down, he said he had no relationship with him but he didn't make it official by hitting the photo with his shoe. Sounds more like a lover's quarrel.

The only thing I have heard is that Intel has picked up chatter that he's dead...some of it saying that he was killed the first night, some saying that he was killed in Monday's bombing...I've had a real busy day away from tele/computer.

To: Miss Marple
its laughable, but you really should watch a few minutes of larry king. you would think that baghdad was a modern, western, peaceful, humanitarian city before the US liberated it. No mention of the brutality of the regime, the torture, rapes, prisons, killings, etc. Its unreal.
To: Miss Marple
I was laboring over the kitchen sink and couldn't hear the TV well, but did G. Gordon Liddy just say that Pfc Lynch was strung up by her ankles and beaten while she was in custody, or was he just saying that was the sort of thing they'd do?
