I wish to thank you from the bottom of my heart; I just learned that you cancelled plans to show "Bull Durham" due to the co-stars Tim Robbins and Susan Sarandon.

Robbins' and Sarandon's unjustifed, hateful criticism of this nation and of President Bush has been nothing short of nauseating, and I applaud you. I cannot stand those two idiots and refuse to support them by watching their films, in spite of the fact that much of their work was something I enjoyed. However, I enjoy my freedoms more than viewing a pair of dimwits who seek to destroy this country and what it stands for.

Thank you so much.

Respectfully and with gratitude;

I tried to post this on the commies web page but it wouldn't take. Too bad theres no e-mail address for the mommas boy.

Timmy,

As much as you and Suzy would like to believe the movie Bull Durham should be celebrated in the family atmosphere the Baseball Hall of Fame tries to create in Cooperstown, the Motion Picture Academy did not agree when they placed an “R” rating on the film. Perhaps this should tell you how disconnected you really are with the world around you.

I know that is not the reason they cancelled the 15th anniversary celebration, but it is worth mentioning, to show how ill-conceived the idea was in the first place.

I saw this in a letter you wrote to Mr. Petrosky…..

"You invoke patriotism and use words like 'freedom' in an attempt to intimidate and bully. In doing so, you dishonor the words 'patriotism' and 'freedom' and dishonor the men and women who have fought wars to keep this nation a place where one can freely express their opinions without fear of reprisal or punishment”

I’d like to know where the hell you came up with that, I didn’t see that you were being bullied. For your uneducated misguided mind, I would like to inform you, that no where in the Constitution of the United States of America are you guaranteed not to suffer reprisals or punishment for your actions or your speech. In the words of my Great Grand Dad “If you can’t afford to loose it you shouldn’t be playing with it” that relates to your celebrity status in case you’re too stupid to figure that out.

The fact that you believe what you wrote may explain why you decided to hook up with a mother figure like Susan Sarandon. Only a child would believe that they would not suffer consequences for their speech.

About your point believing the continuation of the Gulf War is questionable, are you aware almost daily in the past twelve years Saddam has stated he was at war with the United States and proclaimed us his enemy? Do you remember what happened when the United States ignored this same rhetoric, from Osama Ben Laden for ten years? We suffered the worst attack on our Nation’s soil, resulting in 3,000 murders on September 11, 2001, because we failed to take action.

We gave peace chance for twelve years, allowing the U.N., (an organization who’s member states are mostly totalitarian socialist governments), to pass 17 resolutions that were never maintained. Saddam never honored the seize fire agreement that paused the war and by allowing him to get away with that for so long, we allowed him to further oppress his people and emboldened him to become even more of a tyrant.

The lack of action on the part of the United States made us appear weak to terrorists around the world and enabled murderous attacks against us, on at least seven different occasions.

U.N. Weapons Inspectors have admitted, that each time the U.N. failed to enforce or reprimand Iraq for violations, the regime became less cooperative and more deceitful.

The appearance of division in this country about the war in Iraq, allowed Saddam to believe he was safe from reprisals. He never felt he needed to disarm or stop his human rights violations, forcing the United States to finish the war and put the lives of our young men and women of the military, twice in harms way to deal with the Tyrant. Perhaps you don’t feel you are part of that cause but the American People down here in the working class who pay your salaries, have no doubt you deserve part of that blame.

I hope when the war in Iraq is over you and Suzy will have the courage to go over there and explain to the Iraqi People that the action the United States took to liberate them from the Tyrant, was not done in your name and that the two of you begged our government to allow the Iraqi People to continue living in the cruel oppression that caused the murder of so many of their loved ones.

Suzy has on several occasions ridiculed the founders of our Nation, as a bunch of fat rich slave owners. I’m sure neither one of you have ever read the Federalist Papers or any other of the documents that gave birth to our Republic. If you had you wouldn’t have missed the one argument that could have stopped the continuation of the Gulf War. What has Kuwait done since the seize fire agreement to move towards a republic form of government? I would have paid attention to that and respected the argument, as I had with many of my friends when we had that discussion. I eventually dismissed this because they have made some efforts and have held three elections since then, there is more work that should be done, but we can't dictate all the rules. You missed this argument because neither one of you believe in our Republic or are educated enough to understand it.

Timmy you are an idiot, who speaks with out knowledge you have accepted socialist indoctrination and embraced a cause that could eventually enslave our people. If you have any doubts that there are repercussions for your actions come a calling and I’ll give you an example of just what reprisals can be.

My family has participated in every conflict this country has had to endure, our experience tells us, Peace and Freedom can not and will never be maintained with out the will and power to defend it.

Your socialism is an insult to my ancestors, it stagnates the progression of the American Race and endeavors to enslave our people. Look at the organizations that support your cause, the Cold War is not over, the enemy has only changed costumes. Either you are a fool not to see this, or you are purposely seeking to destroy what my ancestors have defended with their blood to save for us. Which ever it is you are my enemy and I would be more of a fool then you, to give you any aid or comfort. So stop your pissing and moaning when people like myself make a decision to invoke economic sanctions against you and your ilk or point out your oblivious anti-American sentiment. This is our right our freedom and our obligation. You pissing and moaning is attempt to deny these rights and oppress our freedoms.

Many of us still remember the treasonous acts by Aaron Burr who not only fought in the Revolution but was once served as Vice President of our Nation. Benedict Arnold was a Patriot before he became a traitor. We understand how this nearly devastated the Father of our great Nation and we feel the same pain today, when people who were given our respect for their talents, stab us in the back in matters they have no knowledge of.

I once enjoyed your movies, now they make me puke and you can shove the blame for that down your throat or up your a$$, which ever orifice makes you most comfortable.

Learn your place in life and stay in it, or suffer the consequences. Let your other socialist yellow belly cohorts no when America goes to war there are citizens outside the military that have the strength and are willing to defend their Nation too. We are watching and listening so shut the flok up if you don’t have the ba!!$ for the battle.

The “69” Mets got lucky, long live the memory of Bill Veek!

Sincerely
Matthew B. Rogers
