FN: Chris Jumpfelt: Suicide bomber killed 4 Marines at a roadblock a few blocks from the Palestine Hotel - Baghdad. Saw quite a number of them (mischief makers)...10s of them loitering around, left their weapons...hoping to be picked up by someone to give them safe passage home...we spoke to them..some of them came from Syria and Jordan...local people have good rapport w/ the coalition...beginning to believe that the Marines aren't going to abandon them. German Embassy was looted..and they tried to get into Turkish Embassy (the French had to be hit - me)...

The German reporter says that four marines were killed. I thought I heard Ollie say that four marines were injured. I wonder who is right?

Chris Jumplet seems to be doing a lot of speculating in his report. I'd go with Ollie says, since he is closer to the action. Ollie--4 injured; Chris--4 dead. Conflicting reports.
