"One of the most brutal members of Saddam's inner circle, al-Majid, in his 50s, led a 1988 campaign against rebellious Kurds in northern Iraq in which whole villages were wiped out. An estimated 100,000 Kurds, mostly civilians, were killed. "

And bringing up the Rear: Last to report Chem. Ali death --CNN. CNN has consistently come in dead last on almost everything throughout this war. Fox is no longer just the leading cable news channel, but is instead THE LEADING CABLE CHANNEL. More than MTV, or ESPN, or TNT, or anything else. Meanwhile, in adjusted terms, CNN's ratings are the same they were in 1980.

And bringing up the Rear: Last to report Chem. Ali death --CNN. While they go on droning about the doubtful situation, in the north. Has CNN gotten around to suggesting that the US may actually win this war or are they still al jazeering about the quagmire?

What's "IIRC"?
We need another Pershing today, when we're engaged in a world war with 7th century medieval barbarians that worship a violent moon-god and his magic rock, in a religion that is nothing more than a murder/death cult.

Guess I must be going blind. NOTHING there saying how Ali died. Shot? Bombed? Suicide?

Tommy D@sshole is very, very, very saddened, disappointed, troubled, and deeply concerned.
That being said, everyone on earth who knows the difference between good guys and bad guys is absolutely thrilled.

A saw a bit on BBC (I think it was BBC) the other night on S.H.I.T's bunker. It was fascinating to see how well designed it was. They interviewed one of the engineers (I believe it was designed after Tito's bunker) and when they asked if it could withstand a hit from 3-in-a-row bunkerbusters, the engineer said nope. The bunker is NOT under the Prez Palaces though. But if S.H.I.T isn't dead yet, he will be.
The way things are going. He's either in his bunker or dead. whadda think?
