What happened at 3AM?

3 ID paid a visit to Saddam's palaces in Baghdad. Also blew up a Saddam on a horse statue on the Parade Grounds.

If Baghdad Bob isn't dead or in our custody, then he's going to order these BagCams be shut off again. There's no way he'll let anyone in the world see our TROOPS in downtown Baghdad.

Earlier this morning, I saw on Abu Dhabi TV, footage of our incursion into the city. They showed explosions, fires, our guys at the palace, and Iraqis fleeing - including the one guy wearing nothing but his BVDs.

Treason does not require a declaration of war. From the Constitution, Article III, Section 3:

Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying war against them, or in adhering to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort. No person shall be convicted of treason unless on the testimony of two witnesses to the same overt act, or on confession in open court.

The Congress shall have power to declare the punishment of treason, but no attainder of treason shall work corruption of blood, or forfeiture except during the life of the person attainted.

Among those tried for treason were several people involved in the Whiskey Rebellion (convicted, then pardoned by George Washington) and Aaron Burr (who tried to create a new country west of the Appalatians, acquitted because of the 2-witness rule).
