I saw no georgia flag on the palace.

This embed, Martin Savage with CNN stirred this crap up. He is not even in Bagdad. he heard the skip and got some commander riled up then reported on CNN that the commander was pissed about the flag. Word got to CENTCOM and ofcouse they said flying a American flag was a nono.

This crap got going at CNN and is largely untrue.

The flag was indeed displayed, but not on the palace or anything other than a vehicle.

SHEP SMITH FINALLY GETS IN

Well, it wasn't the American flag I saw, but it wasn't Iraqi either. It wasn't something that anyone was focusing on... just part of a package that FOX had put together. I noticed a far shot of one of the palaces with a black flag on it. I had earlier seen the guys show the flag on the webcam live earlier, so I kinda put two-and-two together. I figure it was just a couple of guys really excited and living up to the command not to fly the American flag. No one said anything about the Georgia Bulldog flag! :-) So I figured these guys ran it up quick, took a picture, then ran it down. Not really disobeying the command to fly American flags.

I think it is really cool if they did indeed do that!
