THe Deep throaty roar. 22 years in the AF, I can tell most aircraft by sound. Bombers would be high up and sound distant. THis sound is close in.

I lived on a AFB and then in the same town for 20+ years. I can tell a B-52 reving up (alerts), and know what some jets sound like, but nothing like A-10's. I guess its the base you live at.
That sounds like a jet to me but too deep
