The press doesn't know what to make of such brilliant military success. Their main understanding and knowlege base is about failure. They are gobsmacked and bumfuzzled.

I lifted my comment directly from that thread. Saw it reported on CNBC, and they added that the Marines who were calling the parents of their fallen comrade also wanted to assure them that their son died fighting. There is no doubt, these parents will get personal visits from their son's buddies.

I have two young boys (and one daughter) here at home. I can't imagine the pain of losing them. These Marines understand. It is moving, and uplifting.
