No, I don´t think that it was Saddam in the crowd, but what is, if he wants us to think he were dead? What, if he hides somewhere? Now, that the war started, his chance to escape to exile has gone. Therefore, he has to die or at least never come out of a dirty Iraqi jail!

(Hopefully, this night will not be the night of "use of unconventional weapons"....)
Is it just me?
We have had about 7 people die in "the deserts of Iraq" by DROWNING.
Some dark humor in that.

I hope so too, Darlin'. May God be with them all.

Don't recognize "Tumwater" - Shounds like it's near the Bay area? Well, anymore, I don't either. :-) But Tumwater is next to Olympia WA. It's sortof like the Bay Area, only more leftist. There's a fair chance that any time now the Olympia city council will just declare the whole town to be a "commune". They might as well. A "commune" would be bringing it back to the right a little.
To: Ramius
Oh Ramius, Tumwater is OK.... it's Olympia that is all screwed up!

I second that. I'm a New Yorker and have heard Moynihan speak many times. I call him "The Last Honorable Liberal."
After he left the senate he secluded himself; Hillary had to drag him out for a photo op on his front stoop when she ran for the Senate. He would not speak and you could tell that he was very conflicted. He was a good man - I don't think the Democrat Party even understands what this man represented. With his passing whatever decent in the Democrat Party has left this earth.
