Well, anymore, I don't either. :-) But Tumwater is next to Olympia WA. It's sortof like the Bay Area, only more leftist. There's a fair chance that any time now the Olympia city council will just declare the whole town to be a "commune". They might as well. A "commune" would be bringing it back to the right a little.

I second that. I'm a New Yorker and have heard Moynihan speak many times. I call him "The Last Honorable Liberal."
After he left the senate he secluded himself; Hillary had to drag him out for a photo op on his front stoop when she ran for the Senate. He would not speak and you could tell that he was very conflicted. He was a good man - I don't think the Democrat Party even understands what this man represented. With his passing whatever decent in the Democrat Party has left this earth.
