From the nooks and crannies of my mind comes this idea:

/1/We killed Saddam on the first night, along with his sons.

/2/ We hijacked his remaining military C&C system, having broken the codes long before.

/3/ We have been sending orders to the Republican Guard sending them to their destruction. Instead of laagering up in Bagdad, we have been sending them south to be destroyed in detail.

SWAG's do come true sometimes.....I'd not be suprised at all. Then again I have to think that Old Sad Ass studied the Noreiga and Osama Hunts and might just be sitting in Syria watching all this on TV right now knowing full and well his paper tigers couldn't /would'nt stand a chance against Uncle Sugars troops.

Possible. I agree Saddam is dead or incapacitated.

The vaunted Pubbie Guards (special) or otherwise seem to be crumbling like a sandcastle at hight tide.

These Fedayeen paras although less highly trained seem much more motivated.

Some ruthless and crazy domestics can cause trouble for government forces anywhere...nothing new there is it...except perhaps their level of depravity.
