Is that picture really Geraldo? It looks like him. I remember that parade, think it was a Puerto Rican event.

I venture to say that if the Iraqi's ever took delivery of that sub, it was not long until it did not meet one of ours. They would have had only seconds to realize they almost met ours before the hull colapsed and the Iraqi submariners all met Davey Jones.

except for Clint Eastwood embarressing himself trying to singI don't remember that, but I do remember Lee Marvin trying to sing "I was born under a wandering star". Man, that one had to be a violation of the Geneva Conventions.

A point of pride for a modern city is the subway system that it is able to provide for its citizens.
To think Saddam built miles and miles of private tunnels for himself while plans for a public subway system sat on the drawing board.
http://osamuabe.infoseek.livedoor.com/subway/mappage/constmap/baghdad.jpg Of course this fact will pass without comment by the liberals.
-Line all the Iraqi leadership up and say "fire"!

I imagine it's a legitimate picture of Geraldo that someone doctored up with PhotoShop or the likes . . .

Sounds like something from a recent James Bond movie ~ perhaps there's a secret sub that runs from the palace to the airport?

I can hear a number of very loud explosions occurring on the live feed (cam) from Baghdad.

Will be interesting to see what all they find after our troops take control.

I think that cement poured into all these bunkers, air vents etc would take care of what is in them without much damage to the surrounding areas.

This will be amazing if we took control of the command structure, and sent the civillians there on purpose, for safe keeping.
While we had already took control of the city.

Status: Undetermined. Yeah, yeah, we're not supposed to believe everything we read on the internet.
But for simple comedy relief alone, importing a couple hundred (thousand) swines and letting them loose to run around Baghdad could have a beneficial effect for everyone involved?

Oh well, there he and his sons go! On a dhow and up river and into Turkestan or somewhere inside Russia or China.

I read a report that said one of Husseins escape tunnels from his palace(s) also runs to the Tigris.
I'm thinking in the event of an emergency, particularly if the roads are blocked, he travels down the Tigris in a speedboat to the airport tunnel for a quick and easy air getaway.

I think that perhaps our leadership has more in mind right now than causing some amusing ruckus in Baghdad.
Besides, our primary enemies in Iraq aren't religious.
