There is no reason for any war the US engages in to be any more difficult than this. The poor libs need to get used to this - we're not going to risk any more of our men's lives than we have to, and will be merciful but utterly destructive, to our enemies. It is nearly impossible to overstate the military advantage our good fighting men have over the rest of the world.

I would call this a battle not the war. The War began 9-11 2001 for sure. This is just another battle in that war.
That is why all this UN stuff was silly. The US did not ask permission to invade the Solomon Islands in WWII although the Island did not bomb Pearl nor declare war on the US. We invaded them like Iraqi because the enemy was there.
