Is this camera being run on a gas generator? I am curious about the set up here. Who is running the cam, the equipment involved, allowing such traffic to come through, who is Ahmed's favorite member on American Idol... that sorta thing.

It does sound like there's a generator running in the background. The cam is being fed to the media pool, so everyone can get it.

Can't help you on the all-important American Idol issue, however.
