Apparently Special Forces have control of Saddam's Presidental palaces, command and control centers, and Baath Party Headquarters in Baghdad. Coming and going as they please. -- FOX NEWS from CENTCOM.

Fox - Levanthal reports that it's an extremely hot day. One of the hottest they've had since they've been here. Some resistance from local militia quite a bit. RPG's, mortars, and small arms. 6 EPW's taken yesterday. Given permission to take their chemical jackets off. Once they're on the road, they need to be on. A reservist witnessed a guy on a cell phone calling ahead to militia in a treeline right before Marines went through. NBC officers with every company to alert everyone if/when they've been slimed. Anytime they take incoming artillery/missile fire, they go to MOP-4, to be on the safe side.

Fox - CentCom confirms that allies are in the vicinity of Baghdad Airport. "Down USA" is printed clearly when you get off the planes at the airport there. We've been very successful throughout the night. SpecOps hold several Iraqi CnC positions throughout Baghdad (including Ba'ath airport and several of Saddam's palaces. They come and go as they please. Several indications that the regime is being overwhelmed.
