Now that is an excellent job. The problem w/ any type of babysitting is when the "baby" decides to act up.. and that is why you earn your keep !!! Not sure I could handle the hours of 12 -8 ...

some nights I am alert, but most pretty tired & I have never been able to sleep well during the day time on a regular basis..

Which takes me to the next task for tonight.. catching some ZZZZZssss..

There was this wild college bar I used to play foos ball in Riverside Ca. that had what looked like a head in a jar on the bar. Several times I tried to get a good look at it to see if it was real. Never did find out how they did it if it was fake.

Hi niteowls. I missed the whole thing on MSNBC, had FOX on, but just read all of your posts here. I was getting chills reading it. Great job of reporting, Freepers! I just turned on MSNBC & they are going to be replaying all of the tapes, I just heard the first one, where Bob was getting the kids names. WOW! This is unreal!!

I've seen a-lot worse. For the freaky situtation (and with a yammering producer in her hear too, I'm quite sure) I thought she did quite well.

As a small child, 8 or so, we went on a family trip around Europe and in Germany, I think, we found a church with a pickled Pope. Yep a real middle ages Roman Catholic Pope in a clear box in some kind of liquid???

quick side note...got a fast phone call from my husband, I have no idea where he was or how he called, anyways, I told him how sad I was about all the soldiers that have died, and how heavy it sits on my heart. He told me not to be sad, be proud, they died as heroes and I should never forget that. he said it would be disgraceful to their memory if i though of them with pity...now that was humbling.

THANK YOU SO MUCH for this, SG. God Bless your husband, and thank you, too, for the "Tribute to Military Spouses" you placed on your info page. Those who ignore the importance of military spouses have no idea of the military and why ours works so well. I also believe the desire/fantasy of that is the root of the need for "pin-up girls" that our fighting men so crave.
