Sounds like we either have the tapes or they are just talking about the last one where there was a TV ON in the background. They were going to look at what was showing on the screen.

Everyone who has the BAGCAM running.......listen closely for birds chirping and for cars and streets sounds..
I'm afraid with it getting light now we may find out Saddam and his minions have gassed his people in Baghdad..

Myers is a four star general. T FRANKS has five.
To: cajungirl
Myers, like Tommy Franks, are both 4 stars.
They don't give out the fifth one anymore I believe. Or it's very rare.

Why hasnt the red left the CBS cam???Because CBS is Communist.

No fives now. That was a rank creeated during WWII because other countries had Field Marshals and we had no such rank. In order for Eisenhower to give the Field Marshals orders he had to have a similar rank. We crated five positions for General of the Army or Admiral of the Navy.

The MSNBC cam wont play for me I'll bet you're stuck with dial-up, too.
One of these days, I'll make it into the 21st century and have DSL. Then I'll be able to see the vegetation getting 86'd in Real Time!
Until then, I hang out here waiting for updates.
and people say computer geeks have no life . . .

i've seen 4 cars drive by in the last little while, and the birds are chirping.

FN: Hannity & Colmes: - Gen. Richard Myers:
"We've been at this for two weeks. There's been some success."
"The fact that about 45% of the country is not under regime control. No great humanitarian disaster so far. And we're on the outskirts of Baghdad...
"The men and women that are executing this plan are performing superbly."
"I am proud to represent the men and women in uniform, but if there's praise to be given it's to Gen. Franks, his team, and particularly those men and women on the ground....they're making us all look good."
"The situation that Gen. Franks will find in Baghdad is yet to be determined.... He has several plans and branched plans to deal with (what we find)...
"I think you can be patient. ...The tactical situation is going to be unknown and Gen. Franks is going to have to do what he's done this whole time..and that's (to) adapt."
"It's possible that we will use bombs, precision weapons to target (RG, pockets of resistance)....any notion that you have to have some "carpet bombing" of Baghdad...I don't think that's going to happen..(understatement).."
"That's still one of the big unknowns out there....if and when chem or bios. will be used...(they have delivery systems...in some number...commanders are cautious, prepared )..
"There are a lot of unknowns...still a lot of tough fights ahead. Nobody should be euphoric that now that we're on the edge of Baghdad....
Re. winning hearts and minds of locals: "As they see the way the coalition forces interact with them....I think they'll understand what it's all about."
Re. John Kerry's comments: "I think our armed forces understand very clearly why they're in Iraq. They understand the nexus of terrorism and WMDs. It doesn't matter what people say. They understand the mission...."

I've been worrying about that for some time now. I wouldn't put it past him to do a Jim Jones.

Are you sure Franks isn't a five star. I'm positive I saw 5 on him one time when he was in his camos.

I'm on pause
